The importance of Text Links

Text Links have little to do with increasing site traffic, but they are important factor for search engines. To increase the "quality" of search results mostly all search engines assign special rank to indexed sites. Search results are displayed in rank descending order, so most relative results are displayed first.

Search engines consider many factors when they calculate page ranks, but the number of external links to the site (backlinks) is the most important one. The most valuable backlinks are from relevant topic popular sites with high rank. Quality and quantity of backlinks directly affect site position in search results, and therefore the most important factor for increasing specific targeted traffic to the site, CPC ratio, etc.

Because Text Links play a very important role in determining the position of your site in search engines results, recently the practice of buying and selling Link Pads for Text Links has became quite popular. Service or merchandise providers (Optimizers) buy Text Links in order to be listed among the first results when someone performs online search using specific keywords. Website owners (Webmasters) sell Link Pads on their sites in order to receive income. Once the Text Links are placed, it makes sense to keep them at least for several months to make sure search engines robots index the page.

Search engines carefully examine Text Links. Their goal is to distinguish between "real" relevant links and "fake" mass purchased links. Register as a new user

You can register and use the same user name/password to access WebStol as Webmaster (seller) or as a Optimizer (buyer). We encourage Webmasters to buy Text Links themselves in order to increase quality of their own Link Pads.

Download and install code on your site

Webmaster must install Webstol code on his/her site. The code is written on PHP and is available for download after you login to Webstol. The code is placed into hidden Web server directory and is not visible to users. Webmaster calls the code from main page of the site and from all pages with Link Pads.

Add site

Webmaster adds his/her site using Webstol Control Panel. Site is added to WebStol once our robot automatically checks the presence of the code on the main page of the site.

Wait until site is moderated and indexed

Site moderation is a manual process that usually takes 1-2 business days. Webstol robot starts indexing the site once it is approved by moderator. For every page with Webstol code installed out robot remembers page level (how "far" is it from the main page) and popular search engines parameters, such as Google PageRank.

Set prices and other selling parameters

Webmaster sets the price of Link Pads for every indexed page. Price is usually for 1 month of placement and may vary from few cents to tens of dollars depending of the quality of the page. Webmaster specifies other selling parameters: automatic or manual mode, maximum number of links on the page, etc.

Review requests to buy Link Pads

Using manual mode, Webmaster approves or denies each request to place Text Links. In Automatic mode, Text Links are placed without Webmaster intervention providing they comply with preset filters and other parameters.

Receive money

Webstol credits your account every day. Webmaster can request a transfer of any amount (up to the account balance) to "Verified" PayPal account at any time. The transfer usually takes 1-2 business days.

Increase page price

Webmaster has an option to increase prices of pages with sold Link Pads. Optimizer, who purchased Text Links on those Link Pads, has 1 month to accept new prices or reject them (they will be removed).

Prepay your account

Optimizer must have funds on his/her account in order to buy Text Links. Funds can be added to the account by selling Link Pads or by transfer from PayPal "Verified" account using Webstol interface.

Search relevant Link Pads

Optimizer searches for relevant Link Pads using powerful Webstol user-friendly interface. Optimizers can specify various search parameters such as keywords, price ranges, Google PageRank, etc. Customizable search filters give Optimizers even more flexibility in finding relevant Link Pads.

Purchase Link Pads

Optimizer chooses Link Pads and specifies text that will appear on the link (Anchor Text). Text Links will show up automatically once Webmaster approves them (Manual mode). Automatic mode allows Optimizers to specify budget, Anchor Texts and then Webstol buys Text Links for them.
